Quick Verdict

Three dogs, three tablets, two eaten on the spot. The white Shih Tzu wouldn’t touch it, which is normal for him, he doesn’t eat anything I give him. So far it’s a good success.

Buy if you:

  • Have a dog between 20 and 40 pounds, so one tablet covers the whole daily dose
  • Want a chewable you can hand over directly instead of wrestling a capsule down
  • Have a pet prone to recurring bladder or urinary tract trouble
  • Have multiple pets and want one bottle of 60 that works for dogs and cats both

Two Took It. One Walked Away.

I have three dogs, two Shih Tzus and a Labrador mix, and I handed each of them a tablet at the same time so I could watch all three at once. The two bigger ones ate theirs on the spot. The third test was already walking toward me before I even finished with the second dog.

Then the white one. He sniffed it, looked at me, and walked away, same as he does with pill pockets, soft treats, and anything else I’ve tried to pass off as a bonus snack. He’s not sick; he’s just a Shih Tzu who has decided supplements aren’t food. No chewable formula fixes that.

What 60 Tablets Buys You

One bottle of 60 tablets lasts two months for a 20-to-40-pound dog at one tablet daily; multiply that bottle count if you have three dogs like I do. That’s the math that matters, and it changes fast if you have more than one pet. With three dogs all taking one tablet daily, my bottle is a 20-day bottle, not a 60-day one.

The price on this one moves around a lot. It’s sitting at about its usual level right now, but it has dropped well under that before, so check the live price rather than assuming. Worth knowing if you’re planning to buy more than one bottle at a time. Amazon has it at #8,184 in Pet Supplies with more than 900 sold in the past month, so it’s not some obscure listing that’s about to vanish on you mid-bottle.

Where This One Doesn’t Fit

Anything under 20 pounds gets half a tablet, and that’s where it gets fiddly. Cats and small dogs mean you’re breaking a chewable in half by hand every single day, and a split tablet is harder to pass off as a treat than a whole one. The listing says it’s safe for pets of all sizes, and I believe that. Convenient for all sizes is a different claim.

And it’s support, not a cure. If your pet is already straining or crying in the litter box, that’s a vet call, not a cranberry chew.

What’s Inside and Why Cranberry Plus D-Mannose

The formula stacks 100mg cranberry extract, 150mg D-Mannose, and vitamin C per tablet, two complementary anti-adhesion ingredients that work on the same bacteria but in different ways. Those two aren’t doing the same job twice. The idea behind both is anti-adhesion, making it harder for bacteria like E. coli to stick to the bladder wall so it gets flushed out instead of settling in. The cranberry brings antioxidants alongside that.

Dosing goes by pounds, like every medicine that you give to dogs. 20 to 40 pounds gets one tablet. Under 20, half a tablet. My two little ones are around 30 pounds and the Labrador mix is about 45, so all three got a full tablet each. That’s how I’d read it for any household: weigh the dog first, then count out the bottle.

You can give it to them directly or you can put it on their food. If you do put it on their food, you just have to watch and make sure that they consume the whole tablet. That’s the step people skip. A dog will happily eat around a tablet and leave it sitting in the empty bowl, and then you’ve logged a dose that never happened. Crushing it into wet food is the safer route for anyone who can’t stand there and supervise.

“Tasty and Easy-to-Give” Is Doing Some Work

The listing promises “no need to hide in food,” which held for two of my three dogs and failed spectacularly for the third. For two of my three dogs, true. For the third, not even close. The assumption buyers make is that chewable means your pet will treat it like a treat, and that’s just not how picky dogs work. Palatable is a formulation choice. Whether your specific dog accepts it is a personality thing, and no manufacturer can promise that.

Go in expecting a two-thirds hit rate and you’ll be fine. Go in expecting a hundred percent and one dog will prove you wrong in about four seconds.

Daily Means Daily

This isn’t a one-time fix; it only works if you hand over a tablet every single day for months, which means your real test is adherence, not formula. The whole premise of urinary tract support is consistency, which means your real test isn’t whether the tablet works, it’s whether you can get it into the animal every day for months. For me that’s two easy dogs and one ongoing negotiation.

Made in the USA in an FDA-registered facility, free from wheat, corn, artificial colors and preservatives. That matters more on something you’re giving daily than on something occasional.

Who Should Have This on the Shelf

If you have two or three mid-size dogs and want one bottle to cover them all, this is the product, one tablet, no math, no splitting. One tablet, no splitting, no measuring, and it covers both dogs and cats so you’re not buying two products. Senior pets with weaker bladder control and pets coming off antibiotics are the other clear fits per the label.

If your only pet is a four-pound cat or a dog who refuses supplements on principle, the daily halving and hiding will wear you down. You know your animal better than I do.

Pros

  • Two of my three dogs ate the tablet straight from my hand, no hiding required
  • One tablet covers the whole 20-to-40-pound range, so no measuring for most dogs
  • 100mg cranberry extract plus 150mg D-Mannose and vitamin C in one chewable
  • Works for dogs and cats, so one bottle covers a mixed household
  • Flexible, hand it over directly or mix it into food

Cons

  • My white Shih Tzu refused it outright, so the “tasty” claim isn’t universal
  • Under 20 pounds means splitting tablets by hand every day
  • If you mix it into food you have to stand there and confirm the whole tablet got eaten
  • 60 tablets disappears fast in a three-dog house, roughly 20 days for me

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I give this alongside my dog’s other supplements or medication?

Ask your vet before stacking it with anything else, especially if your pet is on antibiotics or prescription urinary food. The label positions it as post-antibiotic support, which suggests it plays nicely, but your vet knows your pet’s chart and I don’t.

How should I store the bottle?

Cool and dry, lid sealed, out of reach of pets. Chewables are made to smell appealing, which means a dog that gets to an open bottle will not stop at one. Keep it in a cabinet, not on the counter next to the food bin.

Does it work the same for cats as for dogs?

Same formula, same tablets, and it’s labeled for both. Dosing is where cats differ, almost every cat falls under 20 pounds, so you’re on half a tablet. Crushing it into wet food is usually easier with cats than handing it over whole.

Is there anything in it a pet with allergies should avoid?

It’s free from wheat, corn, artificial colors and preservatives, which clears the most common food sensitivity triggers. Cranberry itself is the active ingredient, so if your pet has reacted to cranberry before, this isn’t your product. Read the full ingredient panel on the bottle if your pet has a known allergy.

Loses most of its points on ease of use, because one of my three dogs refused the tablet outright and anything under 20 pounds means splitting chewables by hand daily. The formula and the dosing chart are straightforward. A smaller half-size tablet for cats and toy breeds, and a second flavor for picky dogs, would close the gap.

Two out of three dogs took it straight from my hand, the bottle math works cleanly for mid-size pets, and the formula covers dogs and cats so one purchase handles a mixed household. If your dog weighs 20 to 40 pounds and doesn’t have strong opinions about supplements, buy it. Check the live price before stocking up, it swings enough that timing a multi-bottle order is worth a few seconds.
